🌿 June at Bodyworx: 🌿

A Month of Health & Wellbeing

June brings two important global health events — Men’s Health Week and World Wellbeing Week — both centred on awareness, prevention, and supporting healthier lives. At Bodyworx, these themes align beautifully with the work we do every day: helping our community feel better, move better, and live well.

💙 Men’s Health Week Australia 💙

15–21 June 2026

This year’s theme shines a spotlight on the real health challenges faced by men and boys — and the importance of early action, open conversations, and regular check ins.

Men continue to experience higher rates of preventable illness, lower life expectancy, and significant mental health challenges. In Australia, 3 in 4 suicides are men, making mental health and suicide prevention a major focus for 2026.

Key Focus Areas for 2026

• Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Breaking the stigma around seeking help, encouraging men to talk openly, and recognising the signs of stress, burnout, and emotional overload.

• Physical Health Checks Promoting early detection of chronic conditions such as: – high blood pressure – heart disease – prostate cancer – diabetes – skin cancer

Regular screenings save lives — and Men’s Health Week is a powerful reminder to book them.

• Actionable Steps for Better Health This year encourages men to: – book a comprehensive health check with their GP – stay active with regular movement – prioritise recovery and stress reduction – seek support early, not only when something feels wrong

At Bodyworx, we see how much tension, fatigue, and physical strain men carry. This week is a chance to pause, reset, and take proactive steps toward better long term health.

✨World Wellbeing Week ✨

24–30 June 2026

World Wellbeing Week is a global celebration of physical, mental, emotional, and community health — and this year’s focus is all about building resilience, strengthening connections, and creating positive daily habits that support long term wellbeing.

It’s a reminder that wellbeing isn’t just about how we feel physically. It’s shaped by our relationships, our stress levels, our environment, and the small rituals we build into everyday life.

Key Focus Areas for 2026

• Mental & Emotional Wellbeing Encouraging open conversations about stress, overwhelm, and emotional health — at home, at work, and in the community. This year highlights the importance of recognising emotions, building coping strategies, and seeking support early.

• Physical Health & Daily Habits Promoting movement, rest, hydration, and simple routines that help the body function at its best. Activities like yoga, stretching, walking, and breathwork are encouraged throughout the week.

• Relationships & Community Support Healthy relationships and strong social connections are central to wellbeing. This week encourages checking in with loved ones, spending time with supportive people, and engaging in community activities.

• Workplace & Education Focus Workplaces are encouraged to run wellbeing activities — from mindfulness sessions to team check ins — while schools focus on helping young people build confidence, emotional awareness, and resilience.

Ways People Are Celebrating in 2026

• Daily wellness activities like journaling, meditation, or yoga

• Nature based activities such as walking, grounding, or outdoor breathing exercises

• Workplace wellbeing talks or team check ins

• Reading or learning about self care and stress management

• Community workshops and connection focused events

At Bodyworx, we’re embracing the week by highlighting treatments and habits that calm the nervous system, support circulation and lymphatic health, and help you feel grounded and restored.

World Wellbeing Week is a beautiful opportunity to pause, reconnect with yourself, and choose one small action each day that supports your overall wellbeing.
